COVID-19

COVID-19 is affecting us all in some way. Here’s how we’re doing our part:

 

Dear Loyal Capriotti’s Fans,

You’re probably following the developments related to coronavirus (COVID-19). We are also closely following and monitoring this rapidly evolving situation. With over 100 Capriotti’s shops across 20 states, we are in regular contact with our franchise partners. We have been reinforcing and enhancing health and safety policies to help keep our team members and guests safe.

We have increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing throughout our restaurants to hourly, particularly high-touch areas such as front counters, registers, and tables. We’re reinforcing our already strict sanitation, hand washing, and health and wellness policies for our employees, and making hand sanitizer available in all our shops. We have moved to only single use packaging and are pausing the use of trays and plate-ware in our shops where applicable. Drink lids, straws, utensils, and condiments will be available upon request from behind the counter. We also have direct lines of communication via phone and email for our shop teams and franchise partners that provide them real-time support around the clock. The safety of our team members is also front and center. We’ve been providing them with frequent guidance and protocols so they can keep themselves and their families safe and prevent team members who feel ill from working in our shops.

We are seeing an uptick in Capriotti’s delivery and pickup orders placed through order.capriottis.com and the CAPAddicts app, so we’re making sure our delivery partners and shops are prepared for any increase in demand.

We want to help people to carry on with their normal lives, and we are doing our best to make this happen. For example, this weekend we are providing free delivery nationwide. You will see messaging coming from our app, email, and will be available on our online ordering website, order.capriottis.com, or the CAPAddicts app. Contactless delivery is also now available, please specify in the special instructions field at checkout.

We have asked our teams to seal delivery bags with tape, stickers, or staples where possible. You can request a no-contact drop off for your delivery order through our online ordering special requests or through 3rd party delivery services.

To summarize, we have action plans in place and we’re committed to rapidly evolving our policies based on recommendations from the CDC and local health authorities to ensure we’re doing everything we can to protect you, and the team members working in our Capriotti’s shops.
